I am another year older today.

It only seems like yesterday when I posted my 22nd birthday blog entry. But if I try to look at all the events that happened in the past year, I am starting to feel like it was a long journey.

As years pass by, I am starting to feel different whenever my birthday comes. Before, I want many people to greet me. Yah, it’s still somehow the same as of now, but I feel that I am more on reflecting about the previous year that has passed. Is this a sign of getting old? Haha.

I remember I said last year that I am starting to become open to several topics that are somehow hard to talk about. I feel good whenever I talk with my friends about “mature” topics. I am also lucky that my friends are already matured for those topics.

I can say that for the last year, I was more into learning and trying new things. And actually it feels good because I feel that I have learned new things, I have improved, and I have grown. But together with those things is meeting new people. And that’s what I want to happen this year - to extend my network… to meet new people… to gain new friends… Actually it’s somehow a challenge for me because I am really a shy person.

There were also a lot of things that happened last year… our beloved office closed, I had pneumonia and TB, and I got a new job…

I consider my birthday as another blessing from God. I want to thank Him for giving me another year. If He will grant me one wish, I will wish that me and all my loved ones will always be together.

I also like to thank all my friends who never forget my special day. It really means a lot to me.
