Rowjiefully Yours Ep.7: Today is Holy Monday. And usually, when this time of the year comes, we’ll usually see inspirational programs on television, or articles on newspapers, etc, most especially from Holy Thursday to Black Saturday.

I have mentioned before that some people may not know that they are inspiring other people without doing anything… They don’t know that just by having a small glimpse of their ordinary lives, they still inspire others. And whether you believe it or not, even the “not so good ones”, can still be an inspiration.

How? I think it’s on how we can relate to each other. We usually get inspired by people who have underwent or undergoing a situation similar to ours. We tend to follow or imitate them, especially when we see that the things they have done have good results to them.

Okay, I know that my blog has been a “Danny Noriega” fan blog recently, but do you know that the words of this 18 year old man got me? No, I did not memorize the exact words he said, but it goes something like this… “I want people to look up on me, I want people to relate to me, I want to have fans”.

I know that I am not a “star” material to have fans worldwide… or even nationwide. Haha. But just like Danny, I also want people to relate to me. And one of my ways in doing so, is through this blog. You know, if you find people you can relate to, you will feel that you are not alone. With this, I also want to inspire others. Not only with my own life stories, but also with others’ stories I share in this blog.

Recently, it seems like something is waking me up. I want to do something new in my life. If you don’t know, I might be one of the most shy people you’ll ever know. It’s so sad that I want people to reach out for me first, rather than me doing it first. My shyness is the wall between me and the many interesting people around me. And I realized that I want to break that barrier. But how? I know that I cannot do it in an instant, but I am willing to try.
