Time is really fast and I am surprised that we are already in the third month of 2009. Two years ago, I made a big decision… a big decision of moving from Blogger to WordPress. It was actually a hard decision because I’ve been in Blogger for almost 3 years. That’s why I understand my friend JohnJan of Animatech who recently switched to WordPress.

As I always mention in my blog entries, I am happy and contented in WordPress that’s why I am still here. I think the biggest event that happened during my second year of stay in WordPress is meeting Mr. WordPress himself, Matt Mullenweg during WordCamp Philippines 2008. Click Here!

I am actually looking forward to WordCamp Philippines 2009, as well as meeting my fellow Filipino bloggers.

Well, I hope I can do more blogging as I enter my third year in WordPress. Happy Two Years Old to Rowjielogy @ WordPress!

Many of us in the office fear her even if we just hear her foot steps as she enters her room. Many of us in the office would try to avoid having a close encounter with her.

She is the most powerful woman in the office. She is beautiful. She is intelligent. She loves her work. She is kind. She is humble. But still, many of us would fear her especially if it’s work related.

I went out of the office late last night because of a meeting I had to attend. I saw her went out. After a few minutes, I decided to leave the office already. She just went to the comfort room. I hoped she was in a good mood as I looked at her and smiled. She smiled and said good night.

I was waiting for the elevator to open when she came out carrying her things already. I was looking for someone else who could join us inside the elevator. The door of the elevator opened, andonly the two of us rode.

I was thinking if I should start a conversation or not. I just looked at her and I said to myself that I will smile at her when she look at me. I saw her closed her eyes… I knew that she was sleepy and tired. She had been so busy for the past few days… As she opened her eyes, she asked me a question. Our short conversation ended as we went out of the elevator.

I suddenly realized all her hard work for the company. I know that she deserves where she is right now. I appreciated her more.

I got the chance to watch this film with a friend. I haven’t read any of the novels of Sophie Kinsella where the film is based from so it is hard form me to compare the novel from the film.

Anyway, I think that the film is not boring. It made me laugh once in a while. Oh well, like my previous reviews, I am lazy to type  the summary of the film. Hahaha.

Anyway, some things I want to point out:

First: I think it is really true for some of us to be a (mild or wild) shopaholics if we can’t buy the things we like when we were still young. When we already earn our own money, we use to have a way of thinking of “Now I earn my own money, I can already buy the things I want to buy, which I can’t afford before”. We also think “I’ll buy something for me… This is my reward for myself for my hard work.” Or… “I feel depressed… and shopping can help me to remove it.” Hahaha… I do have those reasonings in my mind once in a while.

Second: Credit Cards. I do have credit cards but I consider them as nightmares. Yah, they might be useful, but just don’t over use it.

Third: Learn to know what you need and what you want… Prioritize what you need…

Fourth: Personal relationships with other people is more important that material things.

Last: Learn to spend and budget our money wisely!

Ok. Back to the film. I like how a green scarf had a big impact throughout the film. It served as a trademark for Rebecca Bloomwood. And I also like how Rebecca managed to pay her credit card debts.In general, I love the film. I enjoyed it and I want to watch it again at home.

I have lot of blog entries in my mind to post recently but it seems like I am not in my own self lately… I’ve been acting and feeling weird for the past few weeks.

All I know is that I am happy. But I am just wondering how a feeling like this could turn out bad…

I took a bath this afternoon and I suddenly felt something weird. I felt different. I  started to ask myself, “Is this the real me?”. I can’t think clearly. I can’t foucs on the things that I should do.

What happened to me? Why am I so weird lately?

I tried listening to Lily Allen’s first album entitled, “Alright Still”. I became curious of her music after I saw the packaging of the album. It looks so “pop” but it has a “Parental Advisory” warning. It realy sounds so “pop” but if you listen closely to  the lyrics, you’ll hear words that are not suitable for minors. Anyway, I like some songs from that album. She is now back with her sophomore album, “It’s Not Me, It’s You”, having “The Fear” as the carrier single.

I have “The Fear” in my music player and I actually like the song.
